COETIC

Col·legi Oficial d'Enginyeria Tècnica en Informàtica de Catalunya, COETIC with tax identification number G62641311 is an independent public institution from Catalonia which is governed by public law according to Act 2/2001 of the Parliament of Catalonia, published on 19th April 2001 in DOGC.

COETIC is the professional body of engineers with a bachelor's degree in computer science. It represents, organises, protects and develops them and ensures an appropriate professional practice guaranteeing quality and serving society.

COETIC is firmly committed to being a referent in the ICT sector in Catalonia. Its credibility is built on its independence and the professionality of its members.

The association is part of the Catalan Federation of Professional Bodies of Engineering Disciplines related to Information Society, fCOESIC, which consists of the professional bodies of telecommunications engineers (COETTC), electronics engineers (ACEE) and computer engineers (COEIC and COETIC).
